Walking into Choppin felt like visiting a local’s house. It looks and feels like a converted home, with a down-home vibe and tons of trinkets. Giant speakers and guitars mounted on the wall makes me wonder if they have live performances.
We ordered a garlic butter pasta and seafood dish, a pork taco bowl with homemade salsa, and a ginger pork dish. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. The couple who greeted us was so sweet, it really felt like we were invited by a neighbor for lunch.
